It has begun!

The gingerbread house is underway! My snow fairies are excitedly helping. So far the work is going quickly. Angel is directing since this is most likely to be her house.

Structural pieces are punched out and cleaned up. Next comes the quick dry fit before GLUING! I am determined to have a solid house as soon as possible. I know that it is better to do a bunch of prep work like painting and other things before assembly but that's where I always get stuck. So the decorations will get added later as I figure them out.

Truthfully I was shocked at how big this is. Guess it just gives me plenty of room.

So far my energy is holding out and I'm just able to have fun. Needing to rest a bit but listening to a bunch of Christmas music, the most I have in years. Christmas is the representation of everything happy in the world. As a kid I dreamed about having my own special dollhouse under the tree. But this is better. I love building and making things. Now I can have a Christmas house to encapsulate the magic.
