Drapes and pelmets.

I took a break and fiddled around for a while with drapes for the dining bay entrance, and little pelmets for the oval windows in the main room... The latter turned out more as I had imagined... This cloth was entirely the wrong type of cloth to use (rayon, or something) and I knew that, but I tried to use it anyway as it was the best-matching scrap in my current scrap collection. Ended up having to put ribbon and trim in strategic places to hide super-glue leaks, and using Krylon spray finish because nothing else would come close to holding the cloth in position. Well I will not use this cloth again...! I may end up ripping out the draperies and putting something else in there...

Thanks Anna! I just cannot be happy with it however... Maybe it will grow on me but I don't think it will... We are our own worst critics... ;)
