Paperclay cookies for gingerbread house walls
I think this takes practice to get uniform cookies with the springerle rolling pin, but I like the designs. I could leave them white to look like the traditional cookies, but I'm leaning toward painting them to a gingerbread or even chocolate color. I haven't used paperclay to side a house before, and I'm reading here that it's usually applied wet, but for this I think they need to dry first, or I'll mess them up trying to glue them on. Hopefully I can combine them with some sections of plain clay on the walls, to fill in around them.
