the bar top

havanaholly

I laid the bar down on a piece of foamboard & drew around it and then worked out the bar top. I cut it out with a steel straight edge & utility knife & laid it on the srong side of a piece of black leather I "liberated" from a worn out old purse. I pieced the corner (mitering) to keep the grain the length of the bar top sections and cut it large enough to fold under 1/4" for gluing.
