Castle stage

WyckedWood

Still work on progress...there are two internal arches on the back wall..hard to see but behind the first one I'm trying out a green velvet curtain, although I need to get some more in scale silk velvet. This has been a fun basically 4 day project. It's 9.5 inches high, 17 inches wide and I think 13 deep.

I started on two dolls last week that I wanted to be in renaissance style costume. Then I got the bright idea that I needed a stage setting for them, a stage I could use for them and any other medieval, Tudor, or even witchy type dolls that may come in the future.

Nice mossy detail on the stonework.. Definitely usable for witches and warlocks as well as medieval dolls. :) How did you make the arched doors?

The doors still have wet paint so they shouldn't be in there yet but I couldn't resist playing castle :) they are just cut from basswood using the arch template as a pattern.
