Castle stage

WyckedWood

Still kind of a work in progress...

I started on two dolls last week that I wanted to be in renaissance style costume. Then I got the bright idea that I needed a stage setting for them, a stage I could use for them and any other medieval, Tudor, or even witchy type dolls that may come in the future.

It's fabulous.:clap:Love this shot for the light coming in the window in the stairwell. :) How did you make the leaded windows?

Thanks! I use the lead tape method. Glass is hard plastic sold for making faux stained glass then I go over it all with clear glaze for faux stained glass to get the wavy look. There are roses behind the window, that's what the red is.

I like how this is coming along, thinking outside the box of a house but instead a setting for the dolls.  Can't wait to see the progress and the dolls progress!

Well it's pretty much finished, just messing with the paint a little and I want to install a velvet curtain. I'm not going to decorate it, I'll just use different props depending on which dolls I'm photographing. Looking fw to starting on the dolls too!
