Merrimack wall detail.jpg

Debsrand56

Here is a close-up of the walls.  Unfortunately, it’s hard to see the subtle wood-grain pattern.  It took some doing, but I finally got a “paneling” that worked for me and I thought closely approximated my grandparents’ walls.  I got the mask behind the bar at the Good Sam show a couple of years ago, and he has been waiting for this moment.  I knew this was where he belonged.  Obviously, not the same as the original mask, but I’m not trying to scare little children.  You can also see the one item that is identical.

Oh Antoine' s was quite the place to visit. (And still is from what I understand).  I love your rec room!

Thank you!  I remember going to Antoine's when we took a trip to New Orleans when I was in high school.  I had escargot for the first time there.  :-)

I love the matador print.. (not a fan of bullfighting though).. I'm pretty sure we had that exact one. Or one very similar.. It was velvet! :D

It's very, very similar to one my grandparents had.  They also had banderillas on the wall, but I am not including those.  I'm not a fan of bullfighting, either.  :)
