This is looking up at landing to 3rd floor which is the ceiling piece.  I took 1:12 fence and trimmed it out to make a unique ceiling trim and brace for the landing to make it sturdy.  Stair will hold it too, but I am still working on that piece of staircase.

What a great idea for roof trim. :D I like pretty things that do structural double duty.

How are you going to finish that? Paint? Stain?
