Okay, it isn't much of a rescue as it was obviously built and treated with great care, but it needs some finishing inside. I LOVE the exterior color - that is why I was so keen to buy it. It was listed for $50. I had several obstacles to picking it up, so I had to tell seller to take other offers while I got my schedule together (can't make people wait on me...not fair to craigslist sellers), so after a week it was still available...MEANT TO BE! I love it.
Everything appears to be well sanded, stained, hinged, gorgeous exterior. Some missing trim on tower, but I can fix that. I want to change some paper on the inside which will be a challenge, and some tiny interior areas are unfinished...huge challenge. But I love it so.
