My first attempt at a veneer floor with veneer I'm cutting. So far I like the look, and as I've always loved Escher-ish styles... this will totally work! Still not sure if I'll use this in the Brownstone, but if not I'll make a roombox up to focus on the floor. lol

I always have a hard time seeing the stars -- but I do love M. C. Escher designs, and this flooring has always reminded me of his work... Probably why it's one of my favorite flooring designs, which is hard to say b/c I love parquet and tile patterns like mad! lol
