Bashing the stairs.

The stairs won't fit into the room very well with the fireplace, and I didn't like 'em anyway, so I bashed the stairs a bit with the existing pieces and some scrap wood. The top will go into the stair-hole the same way, but the bottom will face out into the middle of the parlor. It is hard to see in this photo but below the landing is a narrower cut than above, so that the lower stairs don't crowd that window too much.
