1/6 scale Armored Knight

Debora59

While working on the faux stone block, I decided to search for a 1/6 scale suit of armor, and found this one, its highly detailed and  its 12 1/2 inches. The price was unbelievable too. Since I am an avid BBC Roadshow fan I am so tempted to make a 2 wheel cart, So bond can move his new acquisition around they manor house at will [ I love to see the fabulous locations even more so than the treasures people bring in]

This reminds me of the now closed Higgins Armory Museum.  It was such a sight to see.  This is a wonderful addition to the house. :D

Thank you, I also remember at the Chicago Museum of Art they have a huge room  filled with armor like this and loads of other medieval items, my husband and son were thrilled to see it. I though couldn't stop smiling when I stumbled onto the Thorne Rooms in the basement., this was before I realized I had an interest in miniatures, I had know idea they were there.

You have been busy Debora.....All this in a week!.......Love the suit of armour!

Thank you Mike. You are correct, it seemed like once I started on the stone work, I just had to keep going and going and going. until I ran out of mounting board.
