I had some extra wainscot so I added it to the other side of this wall by the attic stairwell. I had already done wainscot paneling on the opposite side where the study/sitting area will be but this really works for the stairwell. Most of this won't be seen though after the roof is glued on so I took this photo right before the roof panels were installed. If you peek through the attic window you'll be able to see some of this paneling.

Me too and especially after doing a little research on how Victorians decorated in their day it seems that wood paneling and wainscot were prominent for those that could afford it.
