Another angle of the floor to show the pattern and texture of the "slate." I'm really happy with the result! :D

 

Many thanks to Kelly (Kellyannmo...all things Tudor) for pushing/coaxing/encouraging me to do a slate floor, and to Brae (Otterine) for generously sharing her ideas and techniques which inspired this implementation for slate.

 

I will use this technique for a slate roof too :yes:
