Cuckoo Clock
I'm working on assembling this cuckoo clock kit I got from M&E Miniatures on Etsy. The detail is awesome and the clock is a laser cut kit made from cherry wood. I've used a couple of different stains on it to get different effects and not obscure the details while trying to get as close to the coloring of a cuckoo clock my dad had.
I'm assembling it a little differently than how the instructions tell you to do it, but they are only guidelines, right?
April sent me some beautiful tiny pine cones to use in place of the weights that came with this clock, but I haven't been able to get them to work and already destroyed one messing with it. I decided to assemble it with the weights it came with for now while I experiment with the remaining cones.
This clock will hang in the White Orchid
