I made this lidded box this weekend as a test for a shellac finish recipe I found online. It accented the color but it was not shiny at all so I ended up applying a single coat of CA glue and it became like glass.

I'll have to experiment with various proportions of shellac, since I've seen great results in the videos I got the recipe from. Also I've paid a lot for it and some wax so I'm not willing to throw it in the dumpster yet.

LOL Selkie! If you asked me a few days ago I would have been more than happy! But I tried posting them on eBay and to my surprise they got offers.
