Had an event here at our home this past weekend, Gloria was attending, so the garage/studio needed to be cleared of any dollhouse items so her Christmas surprise wasn't ruined! This is a pic I actually sent to my husband, as he was out of town on a business trip and wasn't sure I'd be able to pull it off. Thought I'd share a pic since it was cleaned up! It is a great space to work in. A three car garage, that, actually, up until last Thanksgiving, has had two cars parked in it every night. My SUV stayed in the drive way, but my daughter's VW Rabbit and hubby's car fit in just fine with enough room for the 4x8 model railroad and a really crappy old desk that we used for all the model railroad work. My husband came up with the design for a new workspace. We built the (modular) tables in the background. The folding tables, from Sam's Club, were added after Gloria's house arrived. The pegboard, also in the background, along with the Craftsman tool chests were here before I met my husband. The guy likes organization! My daughter and I have wanted to put permanent outlines of his tools on the pegboard for years, but, his mental image is of crime scene tape, when one shows up missing!
