Track lights? Anyone? Necessity is the mother of invention!

Before securing the third floor, all the overhead lighting for the second floor has to be in place. A while back I purchased a pivoting spotlight intending to use it to light the artwork I want to hang on the wall above the stairwell. But, when I put it in place it was too much light and not enough spot! I had to re-evaluate. The original artwork idea won, so I needed to modify the fixture. I tried a multitude of ideas, and, essentially, came up with this in the end. It's a prototype, needs some minor esoteric alterations, but, fit my needs exactly! If anyone is interested, I will put out a tutorial and share this amazingly simple contraption.
