I finally dressed a bed for myself! This is done with three layers of ivory silk embroidered with hand dyed silk ribbon in my own design. The sides of the bedspread have three layers of lace plus a tiny lace finishing border, all sewn by hand. My favorite part was taking out the inserts in the headboard and footboard and embroidering them to match the bedspread and pillows. This is probably my very favorite dressed bed.
