Overhead view of master bath

Myangela

The tiles are made of matte board, faux painted and cut into one inch squares. The matte board was a deep gray painted with watered down white semi-gloss acrylic. I affixed the tiles to the floor with fabric glue. Followed with one coat of high gloss Modge Podge, then "grouted" with spackling paste, and followed with a coat of Triple Thick by DecoArt.

I scratch built the corner cabinets because, well, I guess I love building cabinets, and because I don't have enough to do? But they are there, and my great niece can move them around and play with them. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

The floors are wonderful, and look like real marble. Love the corner cabinets too. They look so nice framing the doorway, and will really be stunning when looking in through the window.

That was my thought, to peer through the windows and see them. May be a waste, but they can be used in other rooms, too.

No,not a waste at all-and yes, that floor is beautiful! That you created it yourself and didn't have to spend a fortune to look magnificent is the biggest win!:)
