Kari, what are the ceiling heights? You'd been asking about using 1:12 furniture and components... seeing your pictures reminded me that my first dollhouse was slightly out of scale (approx. 7" ceiling heights compared to the usual 8-10" in a 1:12 house), but I used all 1:12 furniture with no issues. By comparison, the ceilings on my 3/4" Tomy house are about 6-3/4".

Anyway, just thinking you might be able to get away with "small" 1:12 furniture or arrange the rooms such that that the low ceilings aren't obvious. Also the doors and windows that came with the house look to be in pretty good shape, you could keep them but add new trim around them if you wanted to dress them up.

I'm still waiting to hear back from lundby about if I need to redo the electric before I redo it. You're right. The doors and window frames are in good shape. I only need to replace the " glass" in the windows. It's yellowed. The stairs need to be re glued , and the paper has water stains, but it's not lifting anywhere on the house at all. I could reappear or paint right over it. The house is 1:18 scale or 3/4. The furniture that came with it is either too big at 1:12 or too small at 1/2. One of the questions I asked lundby is if they still kept the same scale with their current houses. If so, I can get all of the components from them or at least buy their brand on eBay. I've been checking every day and today is day 4 of no response. I will be re sending the email if I don't hear from them by tomorrow.
