January 27th, 2007. Okay, so no new pictures today....but tomorrow.....

I woke up this morning feeling so much better! I felt energized to work on my mini's/dollhouses and I was going to really accomplish alot!....I had a cup of tea...then scanned the forum...scanned ebay....scanned the forum, scanned ebay, ......yet...at 9:45 I finally made up my mind to get going. So I go down to the kitchen/construction zone and i look at each house...I wanted to work on the Beacon Hill, but it's the most inconvenient to get to and move...so I decided to give my Ponderosa (now there's a house i haven't worked on in a little while) another coat of paint. That went pretty fast and I started daydreaming about everything I could do on that one this weekend, to really get alot accomplished. Then I looked at the Harrison and thought I would just throw a little spackle in a few areas and let it dry....then i was going to get back to the Ponderosa. So I spackled all the cracks and tab/slot areas...then I started daydreaming about this house  I decided I should take a moment to think about my plans for the day and since i hadn't had breakfast yet...it was 10:40 so I decided to jump on the forum as well as eat.

Another bout of scanning the forum and ebay back and forth. I amble on down the stairs and look at my lovely Harrison sitting there. I textured the ceilings. Stained the staircase walls (around the railings). Put on the balcony floor, put on the tower and bay roof. Glued the hip roof pieces in place. Glued down all the roof pieces except one (i still want to decorate the hidden room before i want to do that). ...sat back and daydreamed over this house. Before i knew it, it was 5 pm. Sure seems like i could have got alot more accomplished. But now that i think about it, the couple of other trips to the computer to scan the forum and ebay....then the half an hour nap that i had...the staring into the fridge for something yummy that didn't materialize. I sure didn't accomplish much today. I really wanted to. I climbed up the stairs on my way to the bathroom or the office, I would stop and stare at my Harrison, envisioning how it would look. How well it looks now with the little bit i did today....daydreaming again about the interior. This house is HUGE.

I should have set some goals today. I really accomplish so much more when i do that.

I have to say that the Harrison is one of my favorite houses.

Sounds like you had the sort of day mine always turn into to.... bit of this, bit of that.

Very glad to hear you're feeling better & re-energised.

But don't overdo things,

Jackie
