You'll get lots of information to prepare you for the fun. I have the Beacon Hill, but my dad built it for me in 1994. He said that he enjoyed every day that he worked on this house. It is magnificient. I, too, keep it on my dining room table. My only build-from-kit to date has been the Orchid. It was fun and quite easy. Mind you, my husband did a good deal of the build. I am practicing on my house boat :wub: Also I have been reading the threads and looking at pictures of the beacon. And dont be afraid to ask questions. I found that out.
