luvmypoodle
hI, does anyone remembr our chats about this tack strip? from the old board it was stated that maybe it could be used for siding, just wondered if anyone has tried it and if they have pics. Color Me Holly
I haven't tried it yet. I have 300 strips in 3 ft lenghts from a local fabric store. That is how they sell it. They were 3 cents a piece. I painted one with acrylic craft paint. It looked ok. I haven't experimented with laytex paint.
wonderwizzy
yup. I've used it twice. I only have a pic of it on a recent dollhouse (and I stripped it back off again but not because anything was wrong with the siding) http://community.webshots.com/photo/357011...362970578cOIEpb I prefer it to the thin wood strip that comes in tab/slot kits. The friend who put me onto using it said to glue it on first, then paint... but I did it the hard way and primed/painted it first, then glued it on, then did touch ups I bought mine in a roll from a local upholstery store.
