Christmas Display 2007

Every year at the Habilitation Center in Marshall, Mo., there is a contest to decorate tiny houses. After a lawsuit from one of the doctors, mention of Christmas/religion was forbidden, which led to a lot of toys and Santa themes. Dark-haired Elsa, who works at the Hab Center, signed up to do a box and then felt overwhelmed. She called on her neighbor, Norma Jeane (in red) for help; Norma Jeane drafted me. Together we came up with a theme that was not so commercial. The little people that represent several nations have styrofoam ball heads with stick bodies. The phrase "Peace on Earth" in several languages floats above their heads. That's me on the right.
