My second attempt at the living room floor. First I used a different upholstery fabric. Thought I would use wonder under and put it on poster board. All was fine at first. The wonder under actually gave it a nice "backing" But when I went to iron it onto the posterboard......fabric shrunk a little. So It didn't reach all the edges perfectly or butt up against it....and my baseboard I am using is the thinnest stuff. thought about laying skinny sticks flat then putting the base board on that but decided to just go ahead and redo the carpet. So that is laying on poster board but not glued to it. I may use a little white glue here and there. but definately NOT wallpaper paste. Wait till you see what a disaster that did to my pink bedroom carpet!
