This house has a couple of issues. I found it almost impossible to get the top floor not to show a gap under the roof line. I had to sand down the upstairs divider wall, and the directions to weigh down the top floor when you glue it down is essential. I taped it REALLY tight and weighted it down to get it to not gap. Even after that, there were a couple of tiny place that I filled in with a couple extra coats of exterior paint.

I think I dry fitted this house several more times than my other two builds.

Yea this is about the 3d time I assembled this and see what you are talking about, Haven't addressed that yet - Will keep your idea in mind though.
