Interior Beams and Frames

I mixed oil paints and turpentine to make a stain for the interior beams and frames. It doesn't show up well on the photo, but for the beams, I tried to get a walnut tone, and for the window and door frames, I wanted more of a purple-y mahogany color. I plan to dye gauze with mulberries to make the fairy curtains, so I was aiming for a color that would look good with that.
