I bought this one to put away to build for my granddaughter at some point. She is still way to young for it. So - I'll be watching you with this one! Let me know how you feel about working with MDF. I have never built a dollhouse out of either wood or MDF, so would like to know your thoughts. Thanks!

MDF would not be my first choice - It is stable though - Subject to chipping and tearout.. With care and awareness of these issues .. It can be worked just fine.. That is why I will be making a base for it to sit on .. So while spinning it around to work on something I won't catch it on something and damage the bottom. The base will be permanent..

Thanks for your reply. I will be doing the Real Good Toys Facebook build-along starting in March. I ordered their kit for doing this in 1/2 scale. Good place to start anyway! The kit is kind of cute and in a size that will be manageable here at home.
