New flat roof - shingles and sandpaper surface

otterine

I cut a new plywood piece for the flat roof since the original kit piece was beyond warped and didn't fit at all. I had finished this surface with sandpaper and painted it.

But, once the new roof piece was attached in the middle back, the flat roof was lower than the back roof. To fix this, I added a new 1/8" thick plywood layer to it. The new top row of partial shingles finishes off the flat top portion of the roof and I had to reapply the sandpaper surface. Ready for paint and ridge finishing.

You're doing a fantastic job dealing with all these old sagging house problems! This would be way too tedious for me! Yikes!! :)
