I am now debated over whether my wainscoting should be white, or should I just stain wood to math floors? White was my original idea, but the woodsie look is kind of getting to me!!

There are alternatives to white. Have you thought about a lighter tint of the color on the upper wall? Maybe separate the two shades with a chair rail of white to tie in with the window trim.

I actually hadn't thought of that! I will have to play around a bit. I need to repaint living room first! all the blue-tones are throwing me off (again, lol) :)
