This is a little better, (a door instead of an office)...I was unbelieve-ably inspired by Fov's blog post about her deck, and thought I could construct a deck area off this door, or just make a staircase going down to a path or something...what do you think?

The furniture will be replaced with whites, (bookcase and desk) to keep the room light and airy...the feel for this is a woman's office...

Love the idea! I can see how you were inspired by the deck, I am too, just don't have the footprint for it. I had to build down (basement).
