20111112 N9 modhtmodroof

welcomehomeminis

In addition to adding height to the building and the windows, and making a new flat roof with a dramatic cornice-moulding to edge the building, we had to add a wall to the structure (because the kit was intended to sit flush with its sister building, it had only two walls, but in our street, the building is a standalone). This would enable us to move the entry to the shop around the corner from the rest of the street, to keep tiny customers walking and finding surprises, and to give interest for big viewers like us, at the end of the long street.
