roof aged

Taken with my cell phone so the detail isn't the greatest but I wanted to show off my newly stained, aged and "mossed" roof. Definitly not a roof you'd find in Arizona ;) I still need to add the shingles to the back roof, finish them and the chimneys that you can see tacked to the back so I could see what it'll look like with them. I will be adding a weathervane and a tiny birds nest at some point to this roof too. I don't think a weathervane is "appropriate" for this style home but who cares it's make believe right? LOL

I stained the roof with a dark color, (I don't remember the brand and color at the moment I"m at work) then I dry brushed different shades of grey acrylics and then went over that in places with scenic scatter to look like moss. If you want to know the stain I can find out tonight after work. Just let me know.
