Big Wood-Sided House

newt

Here is the outside, as it should look.

The house arrived on Monday, 12.04.06, in a huge box.

The shipper simply stuck various components (see later) inside it, took off a couple of the dormers, filled the whole house with styrofoam peanuts and two pieces of extra cardboard, and mailed it.

My poor house now looks as though it has been through a tsunamini. One wall is knocked out, most windows are out, the exterior framing is awry, the stairs are trying to wander off. The components suffered similar insults. the likelihood of the wiretape being safe is pretty dim.

HOWEVER, it is here! and it has lots of nifty features and surprises. can't wait to get to work!

Bummer about the damage :( . I've also received old houses in the mail damaged, it's very disappointing. But you have a beautiful Saltbox Home. Enjoy. :)

Sorry that it arrived with damage in shipment. It's a lovely house though. It'll be worth the time and effort that you'll put into fixing it up.
