Keystone

Jeffrey

So here it is in dry fit stage with its new exterior almost done. i finished applying my egg carton bricks and painted them with gray primer, next task is to grout. i painted the all the trim and windows a warm gray color and the door color is called red wine. I used stripwood to raise the panels that were only painted on above the stone and on the door which adds lots of dimension. I found a metal eagle in my box of odds and ends which i painted satin black but it was too shiny so i hit it with some matte sealer and it love the way it looks now. i also have some black coach lamps which are not shown.

That looks like a totally different house than the first pic. I love the colors and the eagle is perfect. They are getting hard to find. I have a few smaller ones. It's fun to have a house like this to decorate even though it's not easy to find things to fit. It looks close to 1/12 scale though. :)
