Study Floor

Because the rooms are at least 12x12, I couldn't just put in 11x17 pieces of wood flooring (won't make that mistake twice).

I bought a dark walnut sheet of flooring and used it to lay 1/2" outlines in every room. That brought the empty space back down to 11". This hasn't been glued in yet. There are a couple of tiny gaps (bottom left corner and at the divider) so I need to rework the flooring a bit.

I won't leave the center part natural. It'll get stained a bit darker and then both woods will get a coat of shellac.
