Great timing for Memorial Day. Cabo Morado was built in memory of my mother who loved the beach and was an artist. The fully-stocked studio has pickled siding and glorious skylights. The paintings were done by Mom for some of my earliest dollhouses. The sitting room has grasscloth wall covering and a comfy chair. There's even a bucket of champagne waiting for a toast to the sunset.

What a touching tribute to your mum. I like the openness of your design ... letting in plenty of light - so important to an artist! :)

The face above the doors looks like a GreenMan ... did you make that? I just love the GreenMen!
