This is "Tony's Garage"....He's finally located a building he can afford, but now he's so busy with customers that he hasn't had time to fix up his new digs. The poor place hasn't seen a coat of paint in 30 years and the weeds are knee high but there will be time later... he hopes.
On my particular kit I distressed and weathered the wood, including adding wear tracks on the common pathways. I also made removable roof panels to view the interior details more easily. The corrugated tin roof is showing signs of it's age with the rust coming through. The planked floor and steps are worn and the hinges squeak. The tumbleweeds are real greenery from the yard.
Being a life-long "car guy" as soon as I saw this kit I had the idea of doing a variation on the "Ferrari in the barn" theme... which is a true car guy's dream. I hope you enjoy my Tony's garage as much as I am.
