Front view with chimney

We were in a toy museum in Sintra Portugal Fall 2006. I had never seen a dollhouse before. I spent the 4 hours looking at the museum miniature collection. My husband has proof in pictures. For that Christmas I wanted a house of my own. I knew the Westville would be a tougher build than The Laurel, however the closet, the front porch, the stairs and those bay windows called my name...

I was happy for ten seconds when I saw the box, then I opened it.

It looked nothing like the picture on the box....

Here I am 3 years and a half later still thinking, day and night dreaming, and talking about minis to everyone I know.
