The chimmneys, I made also from scraps of wood with the very top piece being the bottom of a michaels hutch. It is made of paperclay and distressed to look old with a black paint wash. The terracotta on top is painted mixing a brown and orange paint and then applying a wash.

I love the fact that you have left the exposed beams in a weathered grey finish rather than going darker. Absolutely right for this build, it looks so authentic.
