That ceiling light is beautiful. Did you create the finish on it? What did you use?

The light I got off ebay but Iv'e found a site to get them at.

The finish is just black acrylic paint, I did it fast so some of it came off when I put it up. I love the way the paint dries flat and old looking, almost like aged brass. I figure if im not toughing the light that often I can touch up the finish if it comes off.
