The kit has some cutout deal in that space above the bay but I didn't like it so I strung seed beads on pins and made my own feature there. The curtains are spray starch-and-skewers though I should have used finer skewers... I didn't like the white lines that are printed on the window "glass" so I used my prize little bottle of black oil-based paint and painstakingly painted over all the white lines, inside and out! I put a little lilac Gallery Glass paint on all the windows to add some interest.
