Study

Natalie

I don't remember that this room was supposed to have French doors or not. I'm pretty sure I added some somwhere! The kitty on the floor is in memory of my husband's cat, Bibi, who lived a very nice long life and is very much missed by both of us

This room is amazing, it reminds me of an old country house in England in the 1920s, eclectic and rich. The colours are beautiful and the furniture exquisite, particularly those chairs, where did you get them?

Every picture just gets beter and better. You must be really proud of this house.

Thanks, Jo! It's funny you say that because I initially intended for this house to be an English Manor, and this was to be the American Ambassador to England's study -- oh well! The chairs are poly-resin, I can't remember who makes them, but they probably came from HBS or Manor House or someplace like that. I bought them a couple of years ago when I first started the house. You know, I do really like the house. The pictures are pretty bothersome to me as I can see every little flaw that I don't notice when I'm taking it in all at once, though.
