Living room curtains

This is how the drapes for the bay window were put together. (This photo is the back of the drapes)The little cross pieces on the lower part of the drapes hold them together. The one on the left is in place, the glue is ready to receive the one on the right. After they dried, they were trimmed so they wouldn't show at the sides. They're below the window sill, so they don't show when you look in the window.

The cornices are made of foamcore with fabric glued on. I used Aileen's tacky glue for this.

The kitchen curtain is made from quilting fabric. Quilt shops are great places to look for small scale patterns. Lucky for me, black and white is the "in" colors for quilters at the moment. :)
