Lips 101 Posted July 13, 2009 Hey Lizzie, sorry for not replying faster....I wanted my dollhouse exterior in bricks but the price of miniature bricks was too much for me so I found a rescipe online for making miniature bricks and for about 15 dollars you can make a few hundred bricks. I made a grid out of wood 5 bricks high by 15 bricks across and spread the wet brick cement evenly and after they dried each brick popped out pretty easily. Here's the rescipe..1. 7 lb box POLYBLEND Sanded Grout in Winter Grey color2. 32oz bottle QUIKRETE concreteacrylic fortifier3. 10oz bottle QUIKRETE Terra CottaCement Color no 13174. Water based black paint5. Follow the directions on the concrete fortifier to mix the bricks6. For variation of brick color add the black water based paint to the mix. Quote Link to comment
