Shingled

Shingles are glued around the chimney (if I had been smart, I would have done the chimney last!)... The chimney is made out of paperclay.

The only part of the 2nd floor that juts out is the right side doors, so I constructed a secondary door and roof set there.

I liked the fact that I could paint areas with a base white stain guard paint where I didn't want the acrylic paint to soak into the wood (like the orange starburst).... but left the rest untreated for the weathering effect.
