"Midsummer's Eve"

ItzKathyP

The picture on the floor in the previous photo is "Midsummer's Eve," which I believe was painted in 1902 and will therefore fit in my 1905 house. This picture was my "step 1" and drove the whole concept of BayCliff.

From the album:

My First House - The Pierce

Hi there: It was fun to hear from you and see what you've done. I've finished the staircase and had to go to the store to start getting flooring, wallpaper, etc. cause it's much easier to do flat. I started the taping of the house and decided adding that second floor will not be easy with the staircase there. The slot is really tight. But for now , I disassembled most of it and will work on floors and wallpaper in the next few weeks. I'm embarrassed to say this, but I have no idea how to put pictures on the website. I can email them to you much easier. My email is maggielou@hughes.net. If you send me yours, you will see my elegant, perfectly beautiful, staircase. ha ha...I started painting the outside color on the big pieces and it is so cool. I spend too much time thinking about this Victorian. How did you come up with the name? Very poetic. Hope to hear from you soon. Maggie H.
