rustic bed for fishing cabin

I made this bed with dowels the slats are popsicle sticks. The hardest part was figuring out how to attach the dowels to each other. I ended up using a pencil sharpener to slightly sharpen the points of the dowels, then drilled holes using my dremel with a burnishing attachment.
