Suitcase House: Inside unpainted

There are four rooms when the house opens, and some furniture came packed inside. It appears to be made of well finished pine. Very nice, smooth wood, not plywood.

The front door is a bit weird. There are two large planks glued across it, top and bottom. I tried to pry them off, but they are glued to stay, I'm afraid. The wood on the door started to split with my efforts. So, I'm just going to paint them as if they aren't there in hopes of camouflaging them.
